The catalogue is very vast and has chairs that were created during the nineteenth century as well as chairs created recently. Some of these chairs have never been modified. This is the case of the “chaise longue”, which has been remaining the same since it’s creation in 1907. Some other chairs have often been modified. This is often due to decorators who have special needs. The most famous decorators have always been and still are associated with Drucker leaving their handprint on the Drucker catalogue. This is how the Drucker catalogue constantly integrates new designs which are often used by the universe of decoration.
Drucker still takes a complementary dimension with its weavings. Picardie has always been, since the middle ages, a region well known for it’s technical weavings and its “jacquards” in particular. The high numbers of different weavings of the Drucker catalogue are their successors. All the personalised chairs with a number of combinations of colours almost infinite are possible because of all the skills acquired through the centuries. The skills of the weavings are transmitted from generation to generation, usually from mother to daughter. |

But since a couple of years, Drucker has developed, according to the demand of the most famous decorators, products integrating the art of weavings of Drucker on metallic structures, such as aluminium. These raw materials allow us to conceive many new shapes that can’t be done with rattan and the Drucker catalogue grows with more products of top quality but with a new design and aesthetic.
Drucker is always open to eventual ideas coming from the most imaginative decorators to continue constant creations ….
Finally, Drucker produces everything to measure tables and pedestal tables of all different sorts. |
